The Poetry of Alan Sheppard...
RIDE THE DRAGON
I have set my dragon in search of you,
In every direction he will search looking for a clue,
He will visit you and bring you to me,
So you can hear on bended knee my lovers plea,
Then you will know that my feelings are true.
Each one of lives perils we will get through,
I will treat you with the respect and honour you are due,
With you by my side I will allow my emotions free,
Can you imagine how happy we can be,
The troubles that befall us can only be few.
I intend to stick to your heart and soul like glue,
Ride my dragon my love, take on a life brand new,
My heart is held open for you to see,
To my whole future you now hold the key,
So mount my dragon dear and let the fun ensue.
