The Poetry of Michale Malemela...
THIS THING CALLED LOVE
How funny life can be
All creatures as actors on a theatre stage
From the raw lands to the cooked state
A place of decent men with indecent minds
Elegant females a price tag on their behinds
Love ununderstood, Love unknown, Love hides
It flips by like a morning mist
For the system of persistance is missed
No more over your breast I'll die
But I'll give my bit till we say goodbye
A dull think tank take the shallow
The medulla on its pillow
Once understood, Love known, Love surface
Like a full moon or new born baby's face
Harmony like sleep fills the house of dread
The folks aged in their grey beard
A smile and laughter of reality
Reflections of inner sincerity
Man lost, man unthinking
Light or darkness always drinking
Missed the system of persistance
Tolerance, the structure on its stance
A lesson teacher not taught
Mama always fought
This thing called love is tolerance
