WINTER

(January 1986)

Snow, snow, all day long,
Freezing with its chilly wind.
How oft' I look towards the sun,
Begging forgiveness for my sins.

Drifting o'er all the land,
Correcting all our manmade faults,
Spring is coming hand?in?hand,
With flowers from the Creator's vaults.

White?washed by the weathermen,
Spirits dampened by the cold,
Remember this that I have penned,
When if ever, you grow old.
