Sunlight shining on all the flowers,
Spring lambs frolicking in the fields,
Birdsong in the blossomed bowers,
This is the splendour that Spring yields.
Couples walking in the mist,
On sunny mornings in Spring days,
Many are wishing and many have wished,
For the joy of love to come their way.
The sky is blue; the fields are green,
The air is perfumed with the scents,
Of myriad flowers seen and unseen,
No more of Winter's indifference.
Now has come that splendid time,
For joining hands and sharing treasures,
To break the bread and drink the wine,
And make that promise that lasts forever.
