The Poetry of David Lyne-Gordon...
BEVERLEY
(19.9.1981)
Beverley, oh Beverley,
The sight of you is heavenly.
To hear your voice and see your smile,
Contents me but for a little while.
Beverley, oh Beverley,
A kiss would thrill tremendously.
And feel your body close to me,
Would hopefully give pleasure mutually.
Beverley, oh Beverley,
With you in my arms so passionately.
We could explore the joys of pleasure,
So think upon it in your leisure.
Beverley, oh Beverley,
I know this offering's phrased directly.
But at small talk I'm not that good,
Writing I find is better understood.
David Lyne-Gordon
