The Poetry of David W Hoffman...
SOUL UNFULFILLED
This footfall reveals darkness darker than before.
I am seeking soul fulfilled in a realm lost.
To be more than just darkness forgotten.
Impossible is it to believe?
Not all are fortunate. Not all are found.
Alone I am not those lost are among me.
Seeking soul fulfilled.
Yet darkness blinds me from them.
Is all we have hope?
Enough is hope not always.
Darkness not I see.
Hope is joined; Hope is not alone.
Fading darkness, a realm lost no more.
Others fade behind still lost, still seeking.
They are not forgotten, fading darkness they to will find.
Soul fulfilled now I am.
