I was born in Birmingham, England, in 1940, and lived
in England until 1960. Since then, I have lived in
India, Australia, Japan and New Zealand. Since 1963, I
have been a daily newspaper journalist.
I have had poems published in literary magazines around the
world, and have been listed in the International Who's
Who in Poetry and Contemporary Poets of the English
Language.
The poems here are intended to be a sort of
showcase for my complete collection at
http://nzsf.com/Poems/index.html. My themes include
Japan, Christian mythology, Islam, India, punctuation
perplexities, mental illness, and violence against
women.
